No matter what size your Western blot is, theres a box that fits it perfectly. With boxes that are correctly matched to common blot sizes, you can fit more blots on shakers/rockers while keeping reagent and antibody usage to an absolute minimum. Additionally, all corners are formed at 90 angles and the bottom surface is uniformly flat, further reducing consumption of costly reagents and antibodies. (For example, popular mini-gels require only about 4ml.) Many boxes are also available in light-blocking opaque black for light sensitive samples
Abcam Eosin Y, x anthene dye, 25G
MW 647.9 g/mol. A red fluorescent dye from the xanthene family used as an acidic red stain for cell cytoplasm. Reduces the affinity of Mg²+-ATPase for ATP and increases the enzyme affinity for Mg²+ at concentrations of 10-50 μM. At higher concentrations near 100 μM the affinity for Mg²+-ATPase for the ion-activator has been shown to be reduced.
